    How Does Oberon Biofeedback Work?

    September 2026 9 min read

How the body can be viewed as an information system — and what frequency patterns can (and can't) tell us about organization, resonance and change.

    Our bodies are constantly communicating.

Every cell, tissue and organ is involved in electrical and biochemical activity. Within the theoretical framework used by Oberon Biofeedback, this activity can also be viewed as patterns of electromagnetic oscillation — or frequencies — that provide information about how biological systems are organized.

Oberon Biofeedback is designed to observe and compare these patterns, providing a unique informational view of the body.

Your Body as an Information System

At the smallest level, the atoms and molecules that make up our cells are constantly moving and interacting. Within the Oberon theoretical model, this activity produces electrical charges and electromagnetic oscillations.

Together, these oscillations are understood to create characteristic frequency patterns associated with different tissues and organs.

Rather than looking at the body only as a collection of physical structures, Oberon therefore approaches it as a complex, interconnected information system.

The purpose is not to identify a disease from a frequency. Instead, the system looks at patterns of organization and how those patterns compare with reference information.

How Does Oberon Receive Information From the Body?

The nervous system provides a communication network between the brain and the rest of the body. Organs and tissues continually communicate through electrical and neurological pathways.

Within the Oberon framework, subtle bioelectrical signals are detected and amplified so that patterns that would otherwise be difficult to observe can be analyzed.

The system does not need to physically enter the body or introduce a substance. Instead, it is designed to work with information associated with the body's existing signalling processes.

    Comparing Frequency Patterns

Once information has been collected, Oberon compares the observed frequency patterns with reference frequency models.

The software examines characteristics such as resonance, variation and divergence between the observed information and its reference patterns.

This is where the concept of entropy becomes important.

In simple terms, entropy can be thought of as a measure related to organization and change within a system. Within the theoretical model used by Oberon, changes in frequency behaviour may represent changes in the organizational state of the biological system being examined.

The purpose is therefore pattern recognition rather than medical diagnosis.

    What Is Resonance?

Resonance is an important concept in frequency-based approaches.

Think of two tuning forks tuned to the same note. When one vibrates, the other may begin responding because their frequencies correspond.

Oberon's theoretical framework applies a similar principle to biological information. The system looks at how detected patterns correspond with — or diverge from — reference frequency patterns.

This allows the software to create an informational representation of different areas of the body and examine how those patterns behave.

    What Is Meta-Therapy?

Oberon can also include an informational feedback process, often referred to within the system as Meta-Therapy or Meta-Correction.

After analyzing frequency information, selected signals may be modified in phase or form and reintroduced through the system.

The theory is that this interaction occurs through resonance rather than through mechanical force, medication or chemical intervention. The intention is to provide informational feedback while allowing the body to remain responsible for its own response and regulation.

What Can an Oberon Session Tell You?

An Oberon Biofeedback session provides information about patterns observed by the system and how those patterns compare with its reference models.

It may be used to explore areas where the system identifies greater variation or changes in organizational patterns and to observe how those patterns change over time.

It is important, however, to understand what this information does not represent.

Oberon Biofeedback does not diagnose disease, establish the presence of a medical condition, predict illness or replace conventional medical testing. Findings should be understood as informational observations within the Oberon theoretical framework rather than clinical findings.

A Different Way of Looking at the Body

One of the most interesting ideas behind Oberon Biofeedback is that the body can be viewed not only structurally and chemically, but also informationally.

Within this framework, the body is continuously producing signals. Oberon attempts to detect those signals, compare their frequency patterns with reference information, observe changes in organization and resonance, and, when appropriate, provide informational feedback.

Rather than asking simply, “What is wrong?”, this approach explores a different question:

“What patterns of information is the body displaying right now?”

For people interested in biofeedback, frequency-based wellness approaches and the relationship between information and biological organization, Oberon provides a fascinating way to explore the body from a different perspective.

Oberon Biofeedback is an information-based wellness approach and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease. Information obtained during a session should not be considered a substitute for medical assessment, diagnosis, laboratory testing or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional.

Dolphin Neurostim is offered as a complementary wellness modality. It is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. New, severe, persistent or unexplained symptoms should be assessed by an appropriate healthcare professional.
